BOXER Zinc Rich Primer ZR-80

BOXER Zinc Rich Primer ZR-80 is a 2-component epoxy-based paint containing > 80% Zinc Dust in the dry film, to provide long-term anti-rust protection. It is very suitable for application on iron/metal structures that have a very high risk of exposure to corrosion on category C5 (ISO 12944-2), such as offshore environments, power plants, bridges, mining equipment, buildings, etc. This product complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The painted surface must be free from dust, oil, and other defects. Optimal performance, including adhesion, corrosion protection, heat resistance, and chemical resistance, is achieved with recommended surface preparation (Sa2 ISO 8501-1 using the sweep blasting method).

APPLICATION
Stir the paint thoroughly. Mix the Base and Hardener with volume ratio of 6:1 (v/v), then dilute with BOXER Epoxy Thinner according to application method. Stir thoroughly.

Apply evenly to the recommended thickness.
